New Yorkers spend a lot of time searching for the best spots to beat alternate side parking regulations. One study found that as much as half of all vehicle traffic in some neighborhoods is attributable to drivers looking for spots. All of this needless driving exacts a high toll on the environment, pedestrian safety, and New Yorkers' quality of life.

Street Parker brings together relevant information -- including current suspension status, upcoming parking suspensions, and a searchable and filterable map of the approximately 400,000 once-a-week street parking spots in NYC -- to help drivers find spots that allow them to cut down on their driving.
